Lafayette Park Hotel & Spa:
An Important Update

Dear Guest,

We are looking forward to your upcoming visit. However, I do want to point out several very important new details:

1. Contra Costa Health Services has imposed a mask mandate for all persons indoors – both unvaccinated and vaccinated. We are required to enforce this mandate for both staff and guests, so we thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation.

  • Complimentary masks are available at the Front Desk and in the Park Bistro & Bar.
  • Masks must be worn by all staff and guests that are two years of age or older.
  • You may only remove your mask in the privacy of your guestroom, and while seated and actively eating or drinking.

2. Contra Costa Health Services has issued a vaccine mandate for bars, restaurants, clubs, gyms, theaters and entertainment venues. This mandate applies to patrons of these establishments. For clarity, this would apply to The Park Bistro & Bar and hotel event space and spa. The hotel is not covered by the mandate, so we will not ask you for proof of vaccination when you check in.

  • In order to be able to fully enjoy your visit to Lafayette, we highly recommend that you bring proof of full vaccination (either one shot of the J&J, two shots of Moderna, or two shots of Pfizer) for all guests 12 years of age or older.
  • Acceptable proof of vaccination: CDC vaccination cards (the physical cards themselves, copies of cards or digital images of cards are all acceptable), vaccination QR codes issued by the State of California, and signed letters from doctors or health care providers.
  • Additional information regarding the vaccine mandate can be found here.

Thank you very much for your understanding as we all do our best to navigate these complicated times. As always, our team stands ready to assist with questions, reservations, anything at all — simply reach out to us.

Kind Regards,

Nick Bozych
Managing Director

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Masks are again required for all persons, both unvaccinated and vaccinated, while indoors.
